The Principles, which promote the incorporation of ESG factors into investment decision making, were developed by investors for investors and by implementing them, signatories commit to developing a more sustainable global financial system.
Sussex Partners has been involved in ESG investing since 2013, when we first advised on the development of a hedge fund portfolio with an ESG filter for a family office. We believe that ESG factors, including Impact analysis and, in particular, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals that underpin the UNPRI, should be part of any well-constructed investment and risk management process.
